Voisin Malin

CSO: Voisin Malin Lyon
Area: Reduction of Energy Poverty
Location: Metropole de Lyon

Type of project

VoisinMalin aims to raise awareness and mobilise 400 households from Grande-Île to Vaulx-en-Velin, particularly those furthest from existing support schemes, via a door-to-door approach leveraging neighborhood relationships towards concrete energy poverty solutions (financial, practical) offered by local stakeholders.

The project will mobilize local volunteers in the neighbourhood to initiate exchanges with their neighbours on existing support services and methods to improve energy efficiency, relying on the trust and ability to access the disengaged through a community-based approach

Target (Disengaged)

The project methodology uses a door-to-door approach, meaning that information will reach the doorstep of disengaged households without requiring them to make the first step to approach information and support services

Science – Based

The methodology and content of the project was based on public opinion surveys which highlight specific believes that can be overcome through targeted infromation campaigns
