Take care of me! – Story book for young children

Online and printed storybook creation, in English-Hungarian language and two-animation movie.
The “true” stories in the storybook will draw attention to real, everyday ecological, environmental protection and equal opportunity problems (in the 9 main pillars, consumption patterns and sufficient economy, green and social work, green working environment, green cities, mobility, water management, soil, knowledge sharing, interactive resources), and conveys good practices for the problems that have arisen. Through 18 fairy tales, the storybook draws attention to several types of environmental protection problems (see above) and sustainable good practice, in the form of story description and narration, in Hungarian and English, in language suitable for the age group. 1,000 copies of the printed storybook will be produced and distributed.
Target
The project has a clear target disingaged target group.
From their age, the preschool and elementary school age groups are not yet sensitive to ecological and climate protection issues, phenomena and the connections between phenomena and do not actively participate. At the same time, the preschool and elementary school age groups are very receptive and interested in learning. If, in this valuable and open period, we can establish knowledge and values as the basis of their personality and knowledge, which e.g. the environment, nature, consumption habits, healthy lifestyle, etc.
Science-based
The CSO is the Addetur School Foundation. The project well thought through with clear aims. Addetur high school is committed to sustainable development and inclusive education. In Hungary, the Green Earth accredited curriculum system was developed with the support of the Blue Planet Foundation, and our school was one of the first to introduce its teaching. The head of the school participated in the development of teacher training and also acted as a trainer. Several teachers have completed further training and their students can already graduate from this subject. The above can guarantee the scientific approach and youth involvements.
Gender
The project plan to focus on the importance of the topic of social roles, as well as emphasizing their connections to climate issues. The issue of climate change can affect traditional roles and affect men and women differently due to social expectations and livelihoods. And women, especially in the Global South, face additional vulnerabilities. One of the goals of the project, among other things, is to draw attention to the vulnerability of individual social groups arising from the climate crisis.
Planned activities

Kindergarten and elementary school age groups (at least 50,000 people) learn about the 9 topics of the completed book in 18 stories in Hungarian and English (i.e. story) to the environment, climate crisis and problems and solution strategies, they become aware of this.

Educators, parents and older siblings (at least 50,000 people) learn about the problems in Hungarian and English in 9 topics (consumption patterns and sufficient economy, green and social work, green working environment, green cities, mobility, water management, soil, knowledge sharing, interactive resources) and solution strategies, they become aware of this.

The knowledge of high school youth who create fairy tales and films deepens and becomes more complex in the 9 topics, they become able to transfer their knowledge, for younger children.
Action model
- The basic purpose and reason of the fairy tale is the creation of community, the foundation and creation of human community psychology and relational culture. Through them, the values of both the individual and the community are expressed and transmitted, making the spiritual roots and foundations alive and strong. Fairy tales written by young people in high school can be imagined to have a greater impact on young children. The fairy tales have a scientifically based background, from which concrete scientific knowledge can be obtained. With the help of modern digital platforms, knowledge can be easily delivered to thousands of households, which are integrated into the lives of individuals and micro-communities at a skill level.
