Tool for the protection and conservation of the environment, gathering initiatives that contribute to the reduction of waste, the promotion of a culture of environmental responsibility and a positive and lasting impact on the community environment.
In an urbanised world dependent on natural resources, environmental education is essential, especially for groups such as children and families. The reduction of waste and the adoption of new, sustainable and supportive consumption habits are fundamental to ensure a liveable future for future generations.
It will last 7 months.
Target (Disengaged)
Educational community. Primary Schools (CEIPs) – 300 pupils/100 people with family workshops. 4 CEIPs in Hornachuelos and Posadas and Ampas (families associations), neighbourhood, cultural and business associations.
Science – Based
Providing scientific data to support information, disseminating data from UN and other reports.
Gender
Positioning women and girls as leaders in conservation and environmental restoration (SDG 5), inclusive language, gender mainstreaming. Collaboration with organisations promoting women’s rights.
Planned activities
- Awareness-raising among students about reducing, reusing and recycling. Training parents on waste management to reduce, reuse, recycle. To raise awareness of the need to reduce. Networking campaign with influencer to raise awareness.
Action model
- 10 Workshops and talks, reward system for schools and households, multimedia content, social networks. Inter-school competition and 2 podcast.
