Type of project

Program combining employment in bike repair, cycling education, and circular economy, targeting vulnerable populations in PUN (priority urban neighborhoods) through employment, training, and access to sustainable transport

The project uses cycling as a tool for social and professional inclusion, environmental awareness, and urban sustainability. It includes insertion workshops, mobile repair services, women-focused cycling education, and circular economy initiatives to reduce mobility related waste.

Target (Disengaged)

People in PUN, especially women, youth, and jobseekers. The project addresses disengagement by offering accessible, community-based mobility and employment solutions and outreach campaigns at high traffic points in these neighborhoods.

Science – Based

Based on relevant statistics cited from national and regional data (INSEE, ADEME, FUB, Womenability) and includes a social and environmental impact study. Uses quantitative and qualitative tools to track outcomes.

Gender

Strong gender lens: 30 women-focused vélo-écoles, childcare support, confidence-building sessions, and partnerships with women’s cycling groups

Planned activities

• 2,700 beneficiaries: 85 people in insertion; 150 women in vélo-école; 1,200 childrens

• 7 workshops in QPV

• 30+ outreach and repair events
