Seeds of Change: Youth Empowerment for Sustainability

CSO: Terramore APS
Area:  awareness/life style
Location: Abruzzo Region

Type of project

An awareness/lifestyle project involving disadvantaged young people through practical workshops on ecology and regenerative agriculture.

It is a participatory, interdisciplinary, and cross-cutting program aimed at graduates to develop projects/initiatives in circular economy within the fashion and furniture sectors.

The project involves Young People (ages 20 to 30) from disadvantaged backgrounds, often marked by educational poverty and low environmental awareness. During the project, participants will learn through practical workshops and field activities led by experts in ecology and regenerative agriculture, engage in discussions on sustainability and climate change, participate in coaching sessions to rediscover their potential, and take part in group activities that foster teamwork, co-creation, and self-management.

  • Intensive residential camps: Immersive opportunities to experience a sustainable and cooperative lifestyle, in contact with nature and with other committed young people.
  • Mentoring and tutoring courses: Personalized support for participants who want to get involved in their own territory, with the support of professionals and local entities.

Action model

  • A strong participation on a limited group (of disadvantaged youth) is believed to bring changes in perception and behaviour.
