Polo della Sostenibilità – Un hub civico tra città, scienza e cittadini

CSO: Let’s do It! Italy
Area: Regeneration of locations, circular economy
Location: SanSebastiano al Vesuvio and Vesuvio National Park  (13 Muniicplaities) – Naples Provence – Campania Region

Type of project

The project aims to engage citizens, businesses, and local institutions currently disengaged from the climate crisis through concrete and visible experiences of the circular economy. Starting from the Sustainability Hub as a permanent civic space, it will demonstrate that ecological transition can generate everyday, collective, and practical benefits. Workshops, participatory environmental monitoring, public installations, and co-design of local actions will make change measurable in terms of behaviours, perception of science, and ability to collaborate. The circular economy will serve as the guiding thread connecting knowledge, needs, and resources. The project seeks to build inclusive and lasting local collaborations and to document processes and tools, providing a replicable model for other territories, with particular attention to the 18–30 age group.
