Type of project

The main objective of the project “Non buttarla così” is to combat indifference to environmental issues through increased citizen participation and cultural change. The project will take place in the Municipality of Rome over a period of 18 months, with a particular focus on communication and the promotion of eco-friendly behaviors, also involving Bed & Breakfast operators. The approach relies on the use of accessible language and community engagement to foster good environmental practices.

Emphasise on how women have more multitasking roles in families and the impact of this on mobility. Mitigation of stereotype repairing bicycle = man task

Planned activities

  • Videos productions (Direct participants: 20+ team members involved in content creation and promotion).
  • Events (attendees: Local citizens participating in 5–10 public events).
  • Communication (Online audience: 150k–400k users in the target demographic reached through digital campaigns).
  • Involvement (Community & institutions: Local networks, schools, and associations benefiting from awareness-raising and collaborative initiatives)

Action model

  • Designing (and producing) a video (and other video clip) based on reliable information/data the project intends to enter in a great number of families trough any type of interceptions (students, workers) and so to trigger good waste processing practices, including B&B (responsible of part of the waste in the city of Rome)
