Type of project

It aims to promote environmental literacy and active citizenship around the responsible use of water, by engaging communities that are traditionally distant from or have low involvement in environmental issues. Through inclusive and participatory approaches, the project seeks to raise awareness, encourage behavioural change and foster long-term engagement in sustainable water use practices.

Target (Disengaged)

• 30 families;
• 270 students from 6 schools;
• 100 users from 3 senior day-care centres;
• 100 people involved in 3 community-based associations.

Planned activities

• R1.1. Green Giants Ambassadors are trained and actively engaged, applying acquired knowledge in local biodiversity mapping techniques.
• R2.1. Green Giants Ambassadors and members of the local community are sensitised and mobilised towards the protection and appreciation of large trees
