Type of project

Initiative supporting high school girls in exploring green and technical careers through awareness-raising, company visits, mentoring, and collective workshops

The project addresses limited access to climate knowledge and the underrepresentation of women in technical and green careers shaped by persistent gender stereotypes. It delivers hands-on workshops introducing environmental and technical skills linked to the green transition. It organises meetings with women professionals and structured mentoring to provide concrete role models and career pathways.

Target (Disengaged)

The project targets high school students, particularly girls. It plans to engage them through classroom awareness sessions on climate issues and green and technical careers delivered to both girls and boys. The methodology combines co-designed workshops, meetings with women professionals, and mentoring to ensure active engagement and concrete exposure to green careers.

Planned activities

Beneficiaries: 15 to 20 high school girls engaged in the programme

2 classes involved in awareness sessions (approximately 50 students)
At least 4 partner companies involved
10 to 15 mentoring pairs created
2 local dissemination / feedback events
1 virtual exchange session connecting girls from both territories
Number of internship/apprenticeship/job requests made to partner companies after the programme (not quantified)
Number of companies actively engaged in the programme (not quantified)

Action model

School-based sessions on sustainable development, ecological transition, and technical careers to select participant
