Summary of the project

The project is aimed at promoting the discovery, care and use of the green areas of the city in a respectful and community way, with a view to redevelop and renew the neighbourhoods starting from the environmental, associative, institutional and human resources of the territory, creating a shared network that uses the green as a “common good” to develop and increase the physical, emotional and social well-being of the individuals and the community. From this arises the interest in public green spaces intended as a “common goods” and the desire of Cittadinanzattiva to contribute actively to spread a culture of participation and respect for the green areas in the city of Cagliari, because not all of them known and valued by the community.

Overall achievements

Activities:

  • A working group has been created to involve the stakeholders interested to the green areas as common goods;
  • Survey activities (150 questionnaires) and direct involvement of citizens for the choice of the green areas
  • Events for the neighbourhood within some green areas involving children and teenagers (200) and teachers, parents and local communities (50 people)
