A participatory journey merging scientific training, art, and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) to address mountain hydrogeological instability.

500 citizens “Disinterested” citizens, particularly rural women, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities

Science-based

Citizen Science for participatory risk mapping and practical workshops on nature-based solutions (e.g., dry-stone wall maintenance).

Gender

An ecofeminist approach that values care-based knowledge and involves women in decision-making processes.

Planned activities

• Participatory vulnerability mapping, collection of local ecological memories, and NBS workshops (planting and water managementCcollective drafting of the “Resilience Charter,” a grassroots document that gathers experiences, proposals, and knowledge developed during the project

Action model

• Systemic and inclusive model; the hypothesis is that transforming fear into awareness through non-formal education generates a change in the community fabric, making it resilient and active in prevention
